"From everything I've heard, the plots are a lot alike. I wasn't commenting on the quality of the D.O.A. either; I thought that there were a few things that the movie could have done without...like a potential love interest (Ryan) when the guy knew he was a dead man. I did like the idea that it never really came into fruition. That just would have been stupid.
Ever notice that in most movies, the man/woman who is in danger: shot at, chased by killers, etc...always finds someone of the oppisite sex to "run" with him/her? Then, somewhere done the line (but before they are out of danger) they take a time-out to have sex! Gimme a Break!"
Keith, Guess you didn't get them mixed up. What made myself confused about the plots is that both are professors and are accused of murder involving a convoluted plot involving students, wives or ex-wives and friends, etc. Also with a student dying at the beginning.
Keith, I didn't mean to compare the quality of the movies, either. As much as I like Dennis Quaid, a car chase in the middle of that movie was way over the top. Done to put a like "jazz" in the middle of the movie. They just reminded me of each other with students, professors, wives and ex-wives, and accusations of murder. charlie
