Jasper, I'm glad you understood what I meant about the Adult Child of an Alcoholic Syndrome. Some people have this more than others and some people overcome it more than others.
Using Clinton as an example was just to show that people who gain great success can still carry this "baggage" with them and have it affect them---and cause them a great deal of problems throughout life.
Fuhrman has several of those "predictors". His mother was alcoholic, he had some "issue" problems with his dad who made fun of his artistic talents and goals, his family split up, his mom was stressed and poor as well as an alholic and is said to be a harsh, bigoted woman herself, he showed bully tendancies as a child, his father's criticism of the art was "gender" based and raised "manhood" issues. There "may" have been some abuse in the home (his brother was arrested for spouse abuse during the OJ case). He also was a racial bully as a child and teenager.
I don't know if you can get a PHD. to talk specifically about Fuhrman but I am sure that entire books exsist about the Adult Child of an Alcoholic out there because I read one from the library after I was told about my high school friend.
