No, just because alcoholism may be a disease, we cannot excuse drunk drivers, wife beaters, etc. 2 cautions, a long term alcoholic needs to be in a hospital to dry out. Also, a pregnate woman should not drink. period. I worked with retarded people, one of the causes is mother drank. Probably worse than crack, cause retardation is permenant and never know what kid is going to be affected or how much it takes. Of course this is only one cause of retardation so don't be blaming. this just one that can be prevented. The kid could be retarded for another reason and some kids are not effected at all. Yes, I am going to tie this into the OJ case. Just gotta spead the word, Now I am mostly going to talk about Nuture, or how people can be mentally ill from upbringing. There are neurotics, the ecentric funtioning people. People like hypochondriacs. Then 2 primary forms of psycotics. Now neurotics and psycotics are completely different. The 4th thing is the character diordered. Skitzapherinia is psychotic-they often appear bizarre, tend to be loners, off in their own world, usually of average to low intelligence, but not always. Usually harmless, not murderers. unless they are parinoid. They kill because God tells them to kill the bad people. Bi-polar(also called Manic Depressive) have mood swings. Can be very, very suicidal or very,very high. I have seen a manic state in which the patient did not lie down for 5 days even when being given shots every two hours to bring them down. May be very intelligent and very successful. If you work in an expensive private hospital, you meet a lot of famoous people. Movie stars, big business men, politicians. Bi polar people can be very dangerous, suicide and murder. They think they are God, when they are manic. In one hospital we had two Jesus's at one time. One gave it up, as they realized there are not 2 Jesus's and choose someone else to be. Probably a lot of the cult leaders are manics and the skizaphenics are the followers. Both skit and manics have little to no control over their actions when having an episode. I really worried about Elian and am sure the gov psycologists were also, cause the female cousin seems to be a manic depressive, she could have gone off and killed him. May be the real reason for the raid. Character disordered are very different. They can range from just liers to mass murderers. They are in control of what they do. To my knowledge, ther is no treatment. They may range from very low IQ to very High. The really bad are what we call sociapaths or psycopaths. They think God finds them special. They may have only 1 or 2 character disorders or nearly all of them. Furman has a lot of them. How did they get this way? As a child they are neglected or abused or both. At some point they think I'm not Okay and You are not OK. I can't feed myself and they don't feed me and I am in pain. This is a hopeless position and if it last long enought they die. So for survival, they think-I am OK and You are not. I am God and you are nothing. Now if this is where one is most of the time, then it produces character disorders all the way to murder and the very intelligent to the big con jobs. They just don't have normal feelings of guilt, love etc. They are good at hiding it.-Ted Bundy- Sometimes they can only feel in murder. It takes them to power place. I am God like. There is a chatagory of I'm OK and You are OK if. If you worship me, stay in your place, don't step out of line. See how that fits in spouse and child abuse. But this abuse may or maynot go to the extent of murder. Fuhrman fits in the if catagory most of the time. I am going to degress a bit, there is a thing called a spunky kid, and abuse and neglect doesn"t seem to effect them. Also how much one is effected, may be due to perception and pain threshold in the child. The screaming mother may effect a more sensitive ear than a less sensitive ear. A beating may physically hurt one child more than another due to their nervous system and pain threshold. Also you cannot diagnose or predict a teenager. The rotten kid may turn out to be a modle citizen and visa versa. Now I took all the information from Fuhrmans book. All this telling information creeps in no matter how hard he tried to hide it. A real big subconcious leak. A few clues, he is very narcistic(I am special to God) you others don"t count. I am friends of some Blacks-you are OK if you stay in your place and think I am great. Same with women. OJ is the worst, tries to be white even, doesn"t know his place. He is supposed to be below me, cause I'm special and only white guys are special to God, He doesn't know his place and I and God hate him. I'show him who has the power and I'm going to be so smart doing it. I'll show him who is the smart one and I'm going to get famous and wealthy doing it .I;ll plan it well. I'll be as big as my hero Hitler, he would be proud. I'll get that woman and Jew boy too, who do they think they are: and Hitler would be proud, why I'll be famous just like him. Maybe there will be a race war and get rid of the scum. I'be a hero to right thinking people. My kind of people, they are special to God but I'm the most special, I'll be the king and worshiped. Fuhrman blames everyone else for anything that has gone wrong and he believes it. He lies with no compuntion. I have a right and I am so smart, those dumies won't catch on. He is a manipulator and uses those who meet his needs and would not lift a finger to help them if he got them in trouble, their fault for being stupid, HA,HA. He looks up to 2 people-Gates and Ron Phillips- What does that tell you about them? Now remember, your friend who tells a few tall tails or is promisquious is not a budding murderer. Just minor character disorders. I think you get the idea and I hope I didn't bore you too much.
