Jasper, I don't disagree with you.
I just said that Heistra talks more about a Jeep than anything else and even here talks of a Jeep Cherokee which was what Nicole and Domique had.
In that tv interview, he says Jeep repeatedly. I will grant you that the Scout is most like a classic Jeep but it is not like a Jeep Cherokee.
I find it interesting, here, that he calls it a wagon type vehicle.
And he may in fact have had the Scout still at the time of the murders. I said I didn't know for sure.
But I DO know that at a period of time later, he had a white SUV which I still find to be psychologly strange. And though I could not tell the make and model, I did see it enough to know it was a more modern or newer vehicle.
While I agree that "to fool the eye" may have been the purpose to make the witness believe they had seen a white SUV, that Scout (which they didn't even make anymore and his was an older model) was enough out of the ordinary in looks to almost be Too distinctive for such a use.
You are right about Heistra. He knew cars and he knew OJ's car (Bronco). But was he ever asked if it were a new or older model that he saw? Or was that a question that they avoided?
And what kind of vehicle did Roberts have?
