I just thought of something. If Sidney heard the Hay, hay, she heard the dog whale. Now unless that was common, would not a kid go see what was wrong with the dog. I doubt that she heard it, or someone else was there that said they would see what was wrong.Who was it that said she heard it in the first place. She was also supposed to hear Nicole scream as a neighbor also said she heard. Too much for a kid to just go back to sleep hearing mom cry, scream, and pet dog wale. I think we may forget that she heard all this.
