I know who you mean, Jean, but I can't recall his name either. It was so odd that he stuck with it a year (and paid out for motel, food, travel, etc) for all that time and then ended up not writing the book.
He will tell you that he started out thinking McDonald was innocent and then realized with the evidence that he was guilty. I have heard him say so but if he really did his "homework" on it, it should have been that he found evidence that he wasn't guilty. Makes me wonder if he read this evidence book that was out a few years ago.
And you are correct. He can't DARE say he was wrong now.
