Just read the story off of the LAPD site.

Yes, our friend "Phil" is a Temp hire for the LAPD in their new cold case unit.
Wonder who ELSE is on this unit??
The story is only about the case solved (allegedly since the suspect is dead).
They (LAPD) didn't exactly "herald' this from the rooftops. Several posters here are from CA and posters on other sites are from CA (like Wagner) and this is the first I am hearing of it.
Anybody heard this before?
Somehow this burns me up.
