So true, Pat.

And at the time there was a "drug" problem (which the woman and her friends had bigtime) on the base. McDonald had made a bunch of soldiers mad by turning them in over drugs when they showed up at the hospital. Many forget that McDonald was a doctor.

Another political area to the case was that Mrs. McDonald's father was a military big wig as well and had connections all the way to the White House. I don't suggest that the case got orchestrated from the WH--just that the man was a powerful man. And when he started pushing the case again JM, nothing could stop it.

There were Many other things besides the hair and the wiped phones. The hair was something that came up 7 years later in the criminal trial.

The court martial judge "went behind" the military cops and double-checked some of their "investigation" and found it sorely lacking if not out and out false.

The "woman" (as you say loosely a lady) was KNOWN to the military cops in the area--quite well as were her companions.

Another area of commonality with the OJS case, is that the "witnesses" in the neighborhood and around the crime, and around the other "suspects" were ignored. There WERE people who saw the woman and her companions in the McDonald neighborhood that night.

And there was a guy who accidentally called the Wrong number (the wrong McDonald) and the "woman" answered the kitchen phone. He made a statement to that fact --hence, the phone in the kitchen ended up wiped clean. However, the military cops would have had to KNOW something when they arrived or they wouldn't have wiped the phone clean prior to knowing about the wrong number caller.
