Kari, Yes, Shipp WAS doing security. He did the security for OJ's parties and other things. You may recall he handled the security for Nicole's funeral. Hired some off duty cops for it and they got in trouble.
There was quite a bit of questioning in the trial of either Phillips or Lange (I believe it was Phillips) that implied that they did security with Fuhrman as well. It was one of those cases where the questions were detailed but went nowhere. Cochran handled them.
They made a Point of not saying WHO they worked for in the trial. Cochran made it sound like not mentioning it was a favor to Phillips but I think it was more in the line of a threat or a warning when he didn't mention it and said to Phillips on the stand that he wouldn't mention what company and Phillips said he'd appreciate that.
