Yes it is really weird. According to Lange the conversation ended with "the wailing" in the background. Do you remember if he testified to this in any of the trials or was that a later recollection for the book. Sounds a bit edited.
And in the interrogation Vanatter is so specific. He asked O.J. "did she give back the bracelet on May 19 or was it a few days later?" Very odd question if he didn't know something about a returned bracelet or some bracelet.
O.J. later gave the bracelet to Barbieri. If that has anything to do with anything. Maybe something to do with the the guy who followed Nicole, the notebook and Barbieri's stolen Bronco. Way too many Broncos in this case.
