Not Nike, but Reebok. The soles are not the same. Nike has a bit more ridge where Reebok has the show fit the sole. Also, Reebok used to supply O.J. with their shoes. Not Nike. Your point is indeed important but there is a different between the two athletic shoe. Nike was going down the tubes against Reebok because Nike went for look instead of support about that time. Foot doctors were for the first time advising patients to go for Reeboks and avoid Nike because they began this new line that didn't have the same support. In fact Nike was in deep trouble, then the O.J. Simpson trial, Reeboks in his closet, Nike was out of finacial trouble, Reebok was in and it gave Nike time to go back to their good athletic shoes with real support. I only know about this because I bought a pair of the good looking but bad support athletic shoes and quickly went back to the Reeboks.
