Sorry to move up here but I couldn't post down at the other place for some reason. Hitting reply sent me back to Home. Weird.

Anyway, at some place I read (I believe it was in the book but can't find it) where MF made this really weird remark about going over to make the notification.

He said they had NO IDEA who had been killed. That they didn't know that it was Nicole. It could have been the maid, etc. (HOW DID HE KNOW THEIR WAS A MAID?)

Anybody recall that?

They KNEW who that was. They may not have gotten down there and looked at Nic's face (or maybe they did ---or the fireman/EMT did)

They every bit as much info or identification as many cops have when they notify that someone has been killed in a car wreck.

Fuhrman knew her and there were dozens of photos out in the open in the house. (they didn't have to go into her purse)

They "may" have even casually asked Sydney who was home with her and she answered her Mom.

I will continue to look for it. I remember it as being in the book though. It stuck out like a sore thumb when he said that.

He made the implication that the notification was "premature" because they didn't know it was her.
