It is common here to have dance recitals on a Sunday Since they do not have an auditoriam in the dance place they have to rent one. Being a busy time of year graduation, etc. Sundays is a time they can use the school auditoriums. They usually start a bit later than the 5 oclock cause since so many parents work in retail and service on Sunday got to give them time to get off work, So more like 7. I guess it has to do with the area.
