I don't know why Reply isn't working right. I believe the man convicted was telling the truth. There is someone else involved who wanted to steal the business and then killed the Madame to keep her quiet and then framed the boyfriend. It worked before, why not again.
I think the most telling part of the Hiedi Fliess situation which seems to blend with the Bundy murders somehow, is the big money of being the Madame and distributing drugs. Framing the significant other and then getting away with the crime. Right up Nagy's alley with the help of Cookie.
