| In Marcia's summation, O.J.
makes the thumps on Kato's wall at "10:51 or 10:52." He hurries past the
French doors by the big tree to the main entrance of his house, where Allan Park sees him
4 or 5 minutes later at 10:56. Note how fast the minute hand on the clock has to move to
compress the actual time involved and how slowly O.J. and Kato have to move to be in
Park's line of sight at 10:56. Kato would still have seen O.J... He didn't. In any iteration of Marcia's story, Park must see Kato first because that is what Park and Kato testified to before the grand jury, in the preliminary hearing and the criminal trial. Marcia's Story 1 shows the most time and space between Kato and O.J. according to Park's first estimate of seeing O.J. "within seconds" of when he saw Kato and Marcia's statement that he saw O.J. walking up the driveway. Marcia's Story 2 fits Park's revised estimate of seeing them "almost simultaneously" (that was Marcia's suggestion when he said "within seconds" before the grand jury). But the closer you bring O.J. to Kato in time the closer they get in space. Therefore, the less likely it becomes for Park, who was looking for O.J. in the area of the driveway by the big tree and the garage, to have seen Kato before he saw O.J. Neither version or anything in between can be synchronized with a clock because they do not conform to the real universe of space-time events. --Jasper |
