The Murder in Greenwich trick-or-treaters have several characteristics that make them good Munchkins: They are little people, they travel in groups, they wear outlandish costumes and they appear with three upright big people. The three big people in Munchkin land are Dorothy Gale, the Good Witch of the North, and the Wicked Witch of the West. The big people among the Murder in Greenwich little people are their chaperones. Mickey Carroll was the Wizard of Oz Munchkin with the bell ("Ding-dong, the witch is dead...") Michael and Carroll are the names of real people who were fictionalized in Murder in Greenwich.
