killings was "a love triangle" that spilled over into a murderous rage. He is the only author involved in the case who

 managed to work a "trout" into a book. He did it twice in Chapter 17, The Aftermath (pages 314 and 316)

about his move to a "small town" in Idaho.  The second  time was in conjunction with a gift he gave
