Mike, Park testified he never saw Simpson wearing a robe, that was only a false suggestion by the defense based on Park's testimony that he couldn't describe the dark clothing Simpson was wearing. We don't know exactly when Simpson disposed of his shoes. After showering and changing his clothing Simpson came downstairs carrying a garment bag. His shoes were most likely in that bag. Simpson carried that bag on the airplane. He most likely disposed of his shoes after he arrived in Chicago. Simpson had a full time housekeeper, it's doubtful he knew how to use the washing machine, he never had to. The fact is that the afternoon after the murders a freshly washed dark colored sweat suit was found in Simpson's washing machine along with female clothing that belonged to his daughter Arnelle. Dennis Fung looked at the sweat suit and the washing machine for blood but never saw any. At the time of that search the police never knew Simpson wore a dark colored sweat suit the night of the murders. They never learned about that until Kato Kaelin testified about it in the grand jury five days after the murders. The dark colored sweat suit was never collected, just as none of Simpson's clothing was collected during that search. But the dark colored sweat suit was video taped when Simpson's laundry room was video taped. About two weeks later a second search warrant was issued to go back to Rockingham and get the sweat suit. But it was gone. Later blue black cotton fibers were found all over Ron Goldman's shirt and on the killer's right hand glove. The same blue black cotton fibers were also found on Simpson's socks. In the criminal trial Arnelle Simpson lied to cover up her involvement when she washed her father's sweat suit with her clothing about an hour before the police arrived at Rockingham. bobaugust
