Mike, …The only blood drops identified as O.J.’s that were not disputed were the three clustered in his foyer. Dick Wagner’s site has the best shot of these blood drops. Furman’s diagram gives you the same thing you would get if you tried to follow a roadmap in real time to Cleveland, Akron, Toledo, Cincinnati and Dayton on a map of New Hampshire. It is scaled and proportioned to tell a story, not to learn and to show what the real story is. Worse than that, his blood drop locations hugging the left edge of the driveway are where his partner Brand Roberts marked them. He does not show Dennis Fung’s makers in the Lange and Vannatter photo. Instead, he argues what the incriminating evidence would have been if Fung had followed Roberts’ lead. …….. There was a blood drop on O.J.’s walkway near the door where Park testified that he saw O.J. going into the house. This blood drop could only have been deposited by O.J. going into the house. The question is when. If you don’t have a scenario that connects ALL of the dots (blood drops) in real time (using real chronometer) and real space (a diagram drawn correctly to scale and proportion) you have nothing but words. ………. One of the last things Dick Wagner did on his site was work on proportioning the driveway correctly and calculating where the all of the blood drops were located. The difference between what he got and what I got is a drop I didn’t know about because Fung didn’t mark it. Fung took a photo of it but I couldn’t use it because I didn’t have a reference point to locate it within a reasonable margin of error for connecting the dots. I had the same problem with a blood drop photographed behind the Bronco. I’ve never seen it so I can’t tell exactly where it was or what its visual characteristics were. ……….. When you figure out what the three blood drop pattern between the gateposts mean (the ones photographed in Lange and Vannatter’s Evidence Dismissed) the unmarked drops don’t matter. These three drops led OUT of the gate. If OJ had parked the Bronco and rushed into the gate with a bleeding finger on his left hand, the blood trail could not have started at the gate. That’s what forced Maria to argue that Park saw O.J. coming from the south path after bypassing the gate and going up the Salenger side of the cyclone fence. It explained the thumps, the glove, one blood drop on the walkway and the blood in the foyer (I have the foyer blood drops wrong in the book. I got the right location for the animations by way of Rovaan from Dick Wagner’s work). ……….. All of the other blood drops were a problem for the prosecution because they presented two ways in which O.J. was supposed to have come from Bundy and gotten into his property. These guilty scenarios contradicted each other. He couldn’t have done both at the same time and if he did one or the other you get the equivalent of a toy assembled with only half the parts that fit and the other parts left over. ……… There is no need for testimony that O.J. went down the drive. There is none that he didn’t and the only blood evidence presented in court says he did – before and after the murders with no bleeding in between. Fuhrman can’t be right because his story (see Animation page) doesn’t match the evidence or the testimony. –Jasper
