Arthur Barens was one of Faye Resnick's attorneys. She said he encouraged her to write the first book rather than turn over what she had to the prosecution. Barens is also interesting for other things he has been involved in such as being the attorney for Melvin Pancoast in the death of Vicki Morgan. Dominick Dunne has written much about this case. Morgan was blugeoned to death by a baseball bat. The other interesting connection with Barens involves Suge Knight. Barens was an attorney for Suge Kight at the time Knight's home was raided. In addition, he provided commentary on the Michael Jackson trial. Makes me wonder how Faye Resnick hooked up with him right after she came out of Exodus, a little over two weeks after the murders?
