Honestly, I would not believe anything that a women like Faye Resnick said or wrote. Her drug addictions seems to me would lead her into a fantasy land where fact and fiction merged. She was a key player in the OJ case; I agree she remains a cipher whose background is unclear and whose motives are even more murky. There are one or two threads that link most of these characters in this drama: drugs and publishing. A drug addict is easily manipulated with sophisticated mind- bending techniques...ah, but here is the rub--how do these ne're-do-wells end up in print, usually realizing sizeable after-the-movie-is-in-the-can profits from dubious escapades? Yes, I know that sex and murder are lucrative commodities and make a great read, but....these books are rushed to press before the bodies are cold. Even acknowledging the short shelf life of current events in our media-fed circus, it seems a bit unnatural to be totally spontaneous. That is where someone like Lucianne Goldberg comes to mind. She is seen hovering on the fringe of so many highly-publicised events that I am beginning to believe she is a plant. But whose???? marilyn
