I thought at first I would put it on the board with the hurricane news, but then I realized it belonged here. I forgot what this jerk said on C-span, but it boiled down to his belief that all those black people in New Orleans, that did not evacuate, where on wel fare. Said something about them never having thought for them selves. But I have been watching this a lot and most of those people where actually our blue collar workers. Most where stuck there because of an absense of transportation. In many big cities, many people use public transportation because of the convience of it. It has nothing to do with your intelligence or race. Some is income but it is more that public transportation is sometimes the better option in a crowded city. But because they where black then he lumped them all together as welfare people and unthinking. Nothing,in recent history, showed this same racial devide as much as the OJ case until this storm has done the same. Will we never learn???
