Thanks for the link. Of course he did just the tip of the sick puppy's real self. I tried to read one of his books and it was so bad that I ended up skimming it. It was nothing but name dropping. It was noting but names hung together with little in between. Names that he could somehow say he was connected to. I think some of his going to dinner with was probably that he saw the person across a crowded room. I remember when his son went missing. I had not had much exposure to him as yet and felt sorry for him, but as time went on, I realized that the whole thing was most probably a put up job so he could get some face time. The guy with the collar on his neck pretending to have broken it was getting all the publicity and suddenly his son went missing. The great mystery to me is how he ever got the first screen play accepted, because he frankly can't write. Jasper can write rings around him. I can write rings around him, after a few edits. My grandparents years ago had an out house. So the newspaper, magazines etc made their way into the outhouse to be used for toilet paper. Newsprint did not rub off like it does now. I can just see my grandfather (who was a great reader) reading one chapter and taking it to the out house for the only use it was fit for.
