You are blank. I think we both said that we use webtv for the convience of it. Why sit in fron of a computer screen when we can sit on our couch and just watch a TV screen and most of the time you can just use the remote that makes it 10 times easier to search the web. And you can put the TV in the corner and do both at once as I do all the time. Now if I want to watch it and sit in bed then I can just unplug and put it on the bedroom TV set. If I want the to have the telephone free and just have one line in the house, you can do that also. It will automatically turn off the webtv when the phone rings if you set it up and then it goes back to what you where doing on the web when you hang up. Lets say I am just reading on the web and don't need the keyboard, then if I want to move to the recliner instead of the couch etc, I just have to take the remote. It is a heck of a lot easier on the neck also. Incidently I worked on a computer at work and this beats a computer all over the place for convience. And it takes up barely any space as the whole thing is smaller than a VCR. But the major part can be put anyplace as there is this tiny little thing that the eye for the remote, that is similar to a TV remote and the keyboard is remote also. And you can buy the whole thing for under $300. Many people have both a computer and webtv. And you can have both for the same IPS price from microsoft if you want. And there is no maintenace except for cleaning the keys. I have had mine for years and all that I have needed to do is replace the remote once. But right now I need someone to fix my computer. And you never have to upgrade it. That is done automatically. You just have to push one button and let it do it itself.
