One way to go about this is to look at the age of the god child and figure out where Faye was at the time. God parents become God parents at the childs christning. Usually this is done soon after birth in the first months if the parents are Catholic. But if they become Catholic at a ater time and have thier child Christened at a later time then it is an older child. I am assuming that it was normal Catholic parents and done in the early months of the child's life. A few other churches have god parents also. Now also often a god parent becomes a god parent because of the association with the male god parent, remember there are 2 in the Catholic Church. For instence if the male has a relationship with the female she may be chosen for this reason. The god parents role is that if something happens to the parents, then they become obligated to see that the child has a Catholic upbringing. All my children have Catholic god parents, but none of them stepped in to drag them to Church when I stopped doing that. None of them (Catholic) practice the Catholic religion. Frankly I can't even remember who the god parents are. We just kind of grabbed a couple of Catholics for the christing. I am assuming that this was Catholic and not another religion.
