John, ……I think you’re right, only Mario doesn’t know it and he probably thinks that my saying I agree with you is an attack. It isn’t. If we’re right, we’re talking about a medical condition (very much like anxiety disorder in terms of brain chemistry) that can be treated successfully. If he considers the possibility that we might be right -- which is possible because he is intelligent enough to figure out that something might be dreadfully wrong with the way he has been processing information lately – he can get help. It can also help him in his legal fight. …….Who knows what damage was done to him in that beating he took? He didn’t imagine that. He didn’t imagine his taped phone conversation with Det. Ito and his memory is still in good shape – although he obviously has some serious blank spots with respect to Iago in general and Lollie in particular. Deep down he MUST KNOW that something is wrong with him. –Jasper
