Oh, good grief! What has this back and forth got to do with either pursuing justice in the OJ case specifically or bettering our fractured judicial system, in general? Hell, if you were not schizoid to some degree in this messed up society, you would not be able to function at all, IMHO. A simple test for paranoia: "If someone is following you and you know it, you are paranoid; if someone is following you and you don't know it, you get a free pass." So shall we agree that Mario is not paranoid, that most of us show some hints of mental paralysis? That psychiatry is an art and not a science, that any study that involves medicine, mental acuity and/or dysfunction can only be an educated guess even by "experts" and that most people who can afford it in great metro areas of this country are in therapy-- 1)because it is symbolic of status ("I can afford my own shrink") and 2) "I don't have the capacity or guts to work through even the most elementary personal dilemma, thus I can deflect responsibility for my actions and make elaborate, elevated excuses for a myriad of my personal failings."? Let Mario be Mario; let us jettison interlopers for the silly intruders they are and keep the conversation purposeful...Jasper is too smart to be tied down by Lilliputins--simply put. Now excuse me, I have a whole planet to save. And as Lee Iacoca was heard to say: "Lead, follow or get (the hell--my words) out of the way!" Sincerely yours, marilyn
