Did Bill Wasz believe Rocky Bateman too? Now that we know Rocky Bateman knew Bill Wasz, it adds a new dimension to Wasz’s story about Kardashian asking him to follow and later kill Nicole. Suppose Bateman and Wasz became friends some where along the way. (I suspect it may have been about 3 ½ years before the murders and before Wasz went to prison the first time for two years. Wasz came out of prison in August of 1993, according to Bosco.) They both liked to do cocaine. Wasz was selling, maybe Rocky was buying. There was the story about Rocky getting caught by Andrew Lloyd Weber’s wife doing cocaine in the limo and changing to driving OJ afterward, which means that Rocky was doing cocaine before he started driving for OJ. Maybe the limo company was a front for drugs. So it is possible Wasz and Bateman became friends. It is also possible Rocky had some run-ins with the law in regard to the incident with Weber or his cocaine use and a cop had something over his head……Now suppose Rocky asked Wasz to follow Nicole, much like he asked Mario, except this time he said it was Kardashian that wanted her followed. For some reason, Rocky thought Wasz would believe it was Kardashian before he would believe it was OJ. Wasz says yes. Then later he is asked to kill Nicole, again by Rocky. Now Rocky has given Wasz the phone numbers of Nicole, OJ and Kardashian, so he can keep tabs on whether they are home by placing a “wrong number” call. Following this through more, when Wasz is jailed and the notebook comes to the attention of the LAPD (by a jailhouse informant), do you think Wasz would name his friend Rocky or the guy who he thinks is behind the request to follow and kill Nicole? It never made any sense to me that Wasz would have to rip off Kardashian for money that he had already earned. Unless, his friend Rocky was telling him Kardashian was not going to pay up after he stole Paula’s vehicle. Maybe Wasz does try to hold up Kardashian but you would think Karashian would have reported an armed robbery to the police. Or maybe Wasz goes on a crime spree to get the money he wants to “get out of Dodge” and ends up in jail. Wasz would have believed it was Kardashian behind the plot on Nicole, just as Mario has believed it was OJ Simpson. Additional speculation along this line appreciated.
