Rose, ……Bill Wasz must have told Det. Crotsley after the murders that he knew the stolen vehicle was connected to O.J. The Kardasian story he told depended on it. But he told a different story before the murders. He said then that he did not know who the 4-Runner belonged to. ……..I’m guessing that the police leaned on him from the time he was arrested to implicate O.J., Kardasian and Paula in a large illegal drug operation but he hadn’t yet figured out how to do it without implicating Rocky or his supplier. I’m guessing that the Time Magazine edition with O.J.’s darkened face on the cover put on display for him during his long delayed arraignment was part of the squeeze; give us O.J. and we’ll cut you some slack. Bill couldn’t give the cops O.J. if he wasn’t sure O.J. was doing coke, but he could give him Kardasian if he was sure that Kardashian was behind the attempt on Nicole’s life in January and he did not know about Mario. For all he knew, O.J. was one of the intended murder victims. ……..One implication of this scenario is that the police could find no evidence before the Bundy murders that either Kardasian or O.J. was involved in trafficking or using illegal narcotics. If both of them were indeed clean, there would have been no way to make a clean bust on either of them. The notebook thus became a prosecution liability, especially with Kardasian sitting at the defense table as an officer of the court. Pursuing the implication of the names and phone numbers in the notebook inevitably lead to Kardashian’s former wife Kris, and her buddy Faye Resnick who visited Kardasian’s home with her daughter when he wasn’t there.
