More info. on Park's mother, Wendy Putnam-Park. When i put her name in a google search, there's a link to a Questia.com article. It's one of those where you can read a portion, but pay to read the rest. In the Google link though, it also mentions Former California Superior Court Judge, Wendy putnam-Park, mother of Allen Park, the Limo Driver in the OJ Simopson Case. .......When i clicked on the link,i didn't see the portions about her. That's probably in the rest of the series you have to pay to read in full. ........I was reading some more in the Manson link in the post i posted under this thread, and found some interesting things. .. ...In a rare article with Stephen Kay, from 1989, here's a few interesting things. Actually the whole article is. From "Keeping Manson in Jail" by Martin Kasindorf, May 14,1989, Los Angeles Times: ...."Of the eight Manson "Family" members convicted in the nine murders that law enforcement was able to establish, only one, Steve (Clem Tufts) Grogan, convicted in the killing of a cowboy named Donald (Shorty) Shea, has been quietly painting houses in the San Fernando Valley since 1985 after serving 13 years. ....He profited from showing the authorities where Shea's previously undiscovered remains were buried near the Spahn Ranch, Manson's dusty Chatsworth base. . ...Kay had no part in the bartering. At the parole hearing, the board was influenced by a letter from Superior Judge Burton Katz, who had prosecuted the case and praised Grogan's later cooperation". .... ......And, "Of all the figures in the story, only Kay has stayed with the Manson case--unless, with some irony, one counts his elected boss since 1984, District Attorney Ira Reiner. as a private lawyer, Reiner lobbied Manson for a place on the high-profile defence team. ....Reiner represented Van Houten for eight early months but proved to independent-minded for Manson, who persuaded Van Houten to fire him." .....Other interesting details, like how Stephen Kay and Vincent Bugliosi couldn't stand each other, and Kay's background. His father was a television executive, his mother was a society columnist for one of the Daily News papers, (sorry, forgot which one) her name was Frances Kay. .....So, there's Burton Katz releasing "Clem",Steven Grogan. And Ira Reiner representing early on, Leslie Van Houten. ....... .....Still haven't found out when Wendy Putnam-Park started representing Patricia Krenwinkel, but it appears to have been a very long time. Perhaps as far back as the 1980's. I haven't read or come across anything indicating whether she was in any way involved in the trials themselves, one way or the other. .....Also, i don't know when and for how long, Wendy Putnam-Park was a California Superior Court Judge. She is supposed to have moved to another state, and now, a Donald Bartell is representing Patricia Krenwinkel. .................................... http://www.internet.is/bret/kay2.htm ..............................................
