Well, I have brought my reading up to date and given my long previous post (which did not post) some consideration. Decided it was too strident and maybe it is best left in the basket. I must say that things are getting "curiouser and curiouser" and brings me full circle back to Mae Brussels and her ahead-of-the-curve insights into all that has transpired since the BIG WAR--meaning number 11, When we were the good guys and our war was a good war--which Studs Terkel called "the last 'good' war." Am reading "The Beast Reawakens: Fascism's Resurgence from Hitler's Spymasters to Today's Neo-Nazi Groups and Right-Wing Extremists." The author, Martin A. Lee, picks up where Brussels left her "theories" when she died a premature death of cancer in about 1986 or so. (Being a conspiracy "theorist" I am sure Mae believed she was offed by the ones she was exposing; and being a disciple of such "theories," I am inclined to agree.) Some years ago, I attempted in vain to find a copy of a book by Richard Allen about the resurgence of Hitler's general staff--his professional military personel who carried out their commander's orders and whims, regardless of how obscene, bizare or inhuman. I always thought many were simply caught in the web of blind obedience--necessary to one's oath in any military position but more deeply ingrained in the Teutonic/Germanic psyche. Reading "The Beast" however, I was soon disabused of my maivete; the bulk of the corps were zealous NAZI party members and never in defeat relinquisted their in-bred distaste for democractic principles or the arrogance of power, though it might seem they had been relieved of privilege. No, they schemed, cajoled and weadled their way back up the food chain by regrouping at War's end, sending the booty of a ravaged Europe offshore and convincing the allies that the Red Menace of Stalin's Communists was even more rapacious than the NAZI's ghoulish feasting by deranged Huns. (I never could understand that mindset but as things unfold in our country, it becomes more clear how easily American and Western "civilization" can be bamboozled.) So to make a very long story short (it has taken 60 years to realize the assault on world democracies and most of those old German degenerates and fellow travelers are dead but the legacy marches on.) Mae Brussels was sharp enough to pick up the hidden clues and clever enough to weave them into a narrative of recognizable activity. She stated that all you have to do to unravel the subplot is plug into the patterns of standard operating procedures. She did it with the Kennedy assassinations, the Manson family's murders and I am using that technique in solving the Bundy killings; that does not in any way nullify Jasper's theories...it simply puts them in a broader perspective. The neo-German subversives were spread over the planet, underwritten with money stolen during WW11, with industrial rebuilding after the War and contacts in high political circles from that point in time. Influential Americans are involved to their necks. (Ever wonder what really happened to the billions stolen from the Savings and Loans back in the 80s? Did it go into the New World Order kitty? My theory) Martin Lee pulls together all the disparate strands and nails down his case brilliantly. From the rise of Skinheads in Russia to the new face of racially-motivated failures in the last three U.S. elections, the fingerprint of rising neo- fascism is obvious, IMO. We let the fox into our henhouse--and you know what happened to the chickens. Now add to that potent brew the suppressive element of mind control, covered earlier, and you have the making of a new international regime, as envisioned by Hitler and his henchmen; as one unappologetic NAZI general, who was living high in post-war Germany-- set up comfortably by the CIA--said smugly. all we have to do is wait patiently and we can rule the world without going to war.... if 9/11 and New Orleans doesn't convince you that he was speaking from foreknowledge (a blueprint?), you are not listening--perhaps because you don't want to hear the truth...marilyn
