Solitairea1, …This is one of the time travel movies I alluded to in my Camptown Races post. …….. http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0104362/ To get the full effect of what this movie has to mean to Fuhrman with respect to your post and the girl’s name in the movie you have to see the whole movie. But to give you a small measure of what it means consider this: ………The move begins with a horse-drawn sleigh on a field of snow. You see the horse’s shod hooves kicking up snow. You know that the horse is a Clydesdale because it has unusually large hooves and, of course, unusually large shoes. ……….Cut to Ben and Carolyn driving in the snow toward a covered bridge. The car comes out of the bridge and makes a turn. Suddenly Ben jams on his breaks as he sees he is about to collide with the horse. The horse panics, rears up and smashes its hooves through the windshield striking Carolyn in the head and killing her. ………..Ben (a subtle time reference to Big Ben, the bell in the Greenwich clock tower) awakens from a dream about that terrible event. You can tell that some months have passed by the absence of snow and the upbeat mood of him and his daughter Hilary. As Ben drives his daughter to school he uses large lips of paper with dates and events to quiz her for a history test. He give her the historical event and she gives him the date or vice versa. She gets the date right for the assassination of the Austrian Archduke that precipitated WW I but she calls him “that Australian guy.” Otherwise, she dose well until he show her a date she can’t match to anything. He says, “July 6, 1954. Come on Hilary, you should know this one.” She makes a couple of stabs at it and gives up. He say’s, “It’s my birthday.” ………If you’re wondering if dates for the San Francisco earthquake and the assassination of JFK are on those slips of paper, they are. July 6 just happens to split the difference nicely between Faye Resnick’s birthday (July 3) and O.J.’s (July 9). We know what Tombstone means to Fuhrman. We know what O.J. and Fuhrman have to do with the Clintons. We know how big Fuhrman is on anniversaries, especially big historical events and birthdays. What more do we need to know to safely assume that Fuhrman put the gunfight at the O.K. Corral and Hilary Clinton's birtday together in his mind? –Jasper
