Right Charlie,
I know that no child wrote the letter. That's the point. We know that SOMEBODY wrote it for the camera (size, neatness). We know for a fact that it was posed (when you get to chaper 8 you'll know what I mean by the water reprsenting blood). Without knowing who wrote the letter, who signed it (same handwriting for all) and what it was put there for, we're left to do a hell of a lot of guessing. I think it was written by Mark Fuhrman or someone he knows who did it at his request. That's definately his drawing of the flower on the letter with the other flower aranged to make his drawing look like a real flower that's falling to the ground. Yes, I've seen this act before--in a movie.
It looks to me as though the letter was written "in the name of the children" --the writer's children--as though the children were saying good-by to Nicole as a gesture of sympathy for her children, Sydney and Justin. It could also be for the mothers of Ron and Nicole...but what is that little doll for if not to make us think of a small child standing where it was dropped--like a certain glove we know? Why would anyone put it there? And why would anyone close to the victims want to look at that letter where it was placed? And why did Fuhrman put it in his book without answering any of those questions?--Jasper
