I think I might have confused. In a motion filed by Petrocelli, he confirms, by citing a police report that Sydney heard her mother crying on the telephone. That is the first "real" document in court papers that confirms that Sydney heard her mother crying while on the phone.
It is very carefully worded and it goes on just to say that Faye Resnick did speak to Nicole that night on the phone. Nothing about "mommy's best friend or fighting, or even what time Sydney heard this. It also has another interesting item in it, saying that even if it was Faye who made Nicole cry, that is not proof that Faye had any involvement of the murders at all.
However, what most people don't know is that OJ never accused Faye of having any involvement in the murders, only that she was protecting the real killers.
I don't believe anything Petrocelli says and what I find very funny is that he says that he thinks it was OJ who made Nicole cry and my first reaction was if it was OJ who made Nicole cry, Clark would have used it and so would he.
My personal feelings are that Faye was leading Nicole down a path that Nicole had no idea she would never be able to turn around and walk away from it. I think Faye made Nicole cry but Nicole's actions after those tears do support Nicole's tears were out of anger and frustration, not terror.
