When I first saw the picture, I noticed how the "evidence" seemed to all lay in a straight line, the envelope leading to the glove, the glove leading to the hat.
Then my next feeling was that the photographer shot Fuhrman before he was ready, or when Fuhrman was in the process of standing up. I seriously doubt there is only one photo of Fuhrman pointing at these items.
But one thing was clear to me, Fuhrman did every thing he needed to do to make sure he was a part of this case. Having his "picture" taken pointing out key evidence was sheer brillance on his part.
I often wondered how many hours were spent on trying to crop the photos and make it very difficult to pinpoint which officer or person was pointing to the evidence---then when the DA's came up with the game plan to use Mark Fuhrman as their poster boy for losing the case, the more items of evidence that they could link to Fuhrman, the better.
Everybody loves to blame Jeff Toobin for the defense's victory, but he was the savior of the DA's case. They knew where their link was within 48 hours and they used Toobin's story as their game plan for the blame game.
