I just thought of something, Roberts was not only called out in the Don Simpson case, but also the Ennis Cosby case. I know Ron Phillips was also involved in both cases.
Since Don Simpson and Ennis Cosby were high profile cases, what the hell was Brad Roberts doing there unless he got a transfer or promotion into the elite RHD unit?
Wasn't that one of the reasons that Lange and Vanatter said Fuhrman was pissed off enough to lie in the Simpson case?
I really wonder if Roberts was given a deal, give one interview to support Fuhrman, and he would get Fuhrman's dream job?
It never made any sense to me that Fuhrman and Roberts were called out in the first place when Phillips knew who Nicole was and this was going to be a high profile case, no matter who the suspect was.
I always believed that Fuhrman was called because he knew Nicole and Phillips knew her, but what about Brad Roberts, did he know Nicole before that night?
