4) Yes, I did read Cora's depo--about a zillion times (it was very confusing and the judge ordered key portions of it stricken from the record). I didn't see where the two keys on a ring in O.J.'s bag might have come from A.C. Cora described two identical keys on a ring that unlocked the front gate and the back gate. It was the set of keys Nicole kept outside when she and Cora went running and the one Nicole noticed was missing when they went for a run shortly after Nicole booted Faye out of her house and one day before Faye checked into rehab. Remember, Cora said Nicol's first reaction was that O.J. took them, then changed her mind and decided that it had to be Faye. These were Keys to the gate--not the house. If O.J. had wanted to get into the house without Nicole's permissinon and witout anyone seeing his car while he was there he would have needed the garage door opener and a key to the back door. That's why it was important for Faye to link the missing keys to the garage door opener and to let everyone assume that one of the keys was for the house. The maid's key ring had a bunch of keys on it. From what I read, they were missing, too, and the maid didn't know what happened to them. These were the keys that Faye said in her depo had been in the kitchen drawer with the garage door opener.
5) In Lange and Vannatter's Evidence Dismissed, they said that the lock (locks?) had been destryed for unexplained reasons and that they made a duplicate of the lock to test the key they found in O.J.'s bag. When the key opened the lock, they took that as proof that O.J. was lying about not stealing Nicole's keys and not knowing they were in his bag. Once again, these were two identical keys stolen, as you noted, when O.J. was out of town. Neither of them could get him into the house, and even if one had been a house key, he would have needed the garage door opener to use it. Lange and Vannatter never followed up on the implications of Faye's story. Neither did O.J.'s private eyes--Jasper
