The kids were never found until 12:40 a.m. Riske got there about 12:07. He went in used the phone, went back outside.
His boss, I can't remember the supervising uniformed police officer's name, told him and his partner to search the whole house. That was when he found the children.
As he and the other officers carried out the children the back way, that is when "we noticed a couple of ice creams".
