Dr. Golden didn't testify because he agreed with the defense expert about lividity (sp?) and the time between the first wound to Ron to the second fatal wound to Ron.
I think the first one was to the neck and the second to his thigh and I think Dr. Baden's estimate was at least 5 minutes between the wounds but he felt it was more likely closer to 10 or 15 minutes.
Dr. Golden flipping out had nothing to do with his not testifying because Judge Ito ruled the defense couldn't use it. Just like he ruled that the defense could not use Phil Vanatter's words to Larry Ragle. Vanatter refused to shake his hand and the said something like, "I'm a cop, you are cop, how could you do this" or something like that.
