I, too, have problems with the issue of Fuhrman being "Nicol's private cop." There is no question in my mind that he saw Nicole as a powerful symbol for both his mother and his second wife Janet Hackett who left him for another man (Jane in The Naked Gun 2 1/2,[Iago: "Fuhrman at the Movies" and the killer cop's mother in Eyes of Laura Mars [The Smoking Gun: "The Eyes have it"]). Fuhrman told police psychiatrists that he would would have killed Janet and her lover if he'd caught them together.
Singular's source did more harm to the cause of truth and justice by saying what he did about Fuhrman and remaining anonymous than if he'd said nothing. His story of Fuhrman-the-evidence-planter serves only to reinforce the idea of O.J.-the-wife-beater, which gives a good reason for Fuhrman to have wanted that story circlated. I don't believe Fuhrman. I do believe Lucian Coleman and the other assiatant DA (I can't remember his name right now) and I belive the two officers who had the guts to put their knowledge of what Fuhrman said in writing. That doesn't tell us whether Fuhrman was telling the truth about having a sex with Nicole, only that he told a hell of lot of police officers that he did and that he'd seen her "boob-job up close and personal." In Iago I say why I question his story. It seemed more likely to me that Faye Resnick had seen Nicole's "boob-jub up close and personal" and that Resnick was Fuhrman's private junky.
Then, of course, there's Ron Shipp who is now admitting that he ran license plates for Nicole. But his admission comes after enough information was printed about it to deduce who the licence-runner had to be. But it was more than that. Nicole had O.J. watched in 1992--that's what at least some of the license plate running was about. No private eyes came forward to say that he or she did the following. That left a cop, or a former cop with solid connections to Nicole and the police. Who else but Shipp? Shipp retired from the police force in 1989 but his "old friend" Mark Fuhrman was still on the job. And John Pavlic found the business card of Officer Danial Gonzolez--another Fuhrman "friend" who was at Bundy and Rockingham on the 13th -- in Niclole's desk drawer. The bottom line is this: All roads from Nicole's dead body lead back to Mark Fuhrman.
