CNN did a horrible job, I caught Jim Moret getting everything wrong, within minutes after hearing it in Court. I watched the trial on Court-TV.
In that sidebar, Ito ask, "Is she (Sydney) going to tell us who Mommy talked to?"
Cochran says, "very possibly". The reason he gives no definite answer is because he can't, it was OJ's decision to let Sydney testify. Then Clark blows up, etc.
I also believe that perhaps the real importance about this issue is what time did Sydney hear this and did Nicole do her usual thing when someone pissed her off on the phone---hang up on them.
It is very possible that Faye and Nicole got into a fight, Nicole hung up and Faye called again. There has to be a reason why Dr. Ameli came forward about calling Nicole that night. She says she called Nicole from a pay phone, just like Faye did, said it was around the same time Faye called Nicole, yet Ameli has Nicole terrified and upset, positive OJ is coming for her that because she told him to "fuck off" in front of her family but Faye and her family have Nicole in high spirits, confident that OJ was out of her life, looking forward to the future, etc.
Also, isn't it possible that Dr. Ameli was trying to cover for Faye first comments about knowing about Ron coming over and then backing away from that? The killers were not surprised by Ron, they knew he was coming, they knew when he was coming and they knew why he was coming.
