I don't remember if Phillips testified about this but he has a way out, Lange said that Phillips went to the officer Vasquez to find out what Sydney meant. So in other words, if Phillips did testify about this, he would just have said he checked with Officer Vasquez.
Lange then went on to say that he asked Denise to ask Sydney about this and he was told that the kids' shrink recommended they not answer questions like that, etc.
