I think it is fair to say that when we lose of loved one, we learn more about that person, both the good and the bad.
However, in this case, the Goldmans appear to truly believe they knew Ron very well when it is clear that the Ron they knew, was not the same Ron who his friends knew. I mean I know our kids are "different" once they walk out our doors, regardless of age, but the Goldmans' seem totally out of touch of Ron's every day life.
