I remember reading the "stronger" version of this but wasn't Petrocelli doing the questioning then?
Didn't it seem like, for the most part, John Kelly was the "Good Plaintiff Lawyer" while Petrocelli the "Bad Plaintiff Lawyer"?
However, I still can't figure out why this was made an issue by Petrocelli unless he was trying to see just how much OJ remembers about that first day.
For instance, what if he was taken for a drug test and they drew blood, doesn't this mean the DA's and the LAPD had another "stash" of OJ's blood to work with?
I would think Petrocelli would have to know what OJ's knows before he could start playing his game of asking the same question a billion times and not letting up until he has totally confused the person as well as their lawyers. Cora's depo is a nightmare to read and Petrocelli took full advantage of the fact English is not her native language.
As for you point about Vanatter and the others who testified that they took OJ to Parker center, did they give themselves any wiggle room on this issue? Were they asked point blank, "do you make any stops along the way?"
I will see if I can find anything about this in any of the books I have.
I would think Schiller's book might be the best source.
