I have also heard of one where a video tape disappeared under MF's "care".
Fuhrman's arrogance in this issue is amazing!! Suppose he had found what he was looking for? It would have been worthless in court due to his taking it home, etc., unless the LAPD and DA's would have been able to lie and say the tests were done in the lab, etc.
Wasn't it Lange who said he had done this (taking evidence home) out of jealousness, etc. Doesn't that show EXTREMELY POOR JUDGEMENT? And that is a Kind assessment of what he did.
It shows if exculpatory evidence is found, it will get lost as well, doesn't it?
Also, this is not years ago in his Wild Youth as they tried to put off a bunch of his misconduct. This was shortly before the OJ trial.
If he is the smartest cop on the planet as he maintains he himself is, isn't this pretty STUPID?
This is not RUMOR but PROOF he has a disregard for the rules, regs, and proper way to do an investigation. All just a short time for the Simpson murders.
Just think, he has maintained that he (and Roberts) were Alone in "doing the correct and proper" things in the OJ case. Everybody ELSE is a bad detective but he is a GOOD detective--an expert--the best their is.
BTW, the is a symptom on a psychopath--claims to be an "expert" or the best or to know it all about a topic/subject/area.
