Jasper, GLAD to BE back. I really missed this discussion and the others while you were "away".
What I think is that Wasz is sincere. Bresnahan and Freed and Bosco have found him to be truthful (and they checked out everything that they possibly could about what he has told them and found it true).
Wasz believes that Kardashian acted on his own. I think (Pat will have to speak to this) that Bosco and other (some of the cops) believe that OJ knew what was going on.
As I was telling Prien the other day. This could have been like many of the Oswald scenarios and the "other" Oswalds that we have read about BUT the very fact that it Happened puts an entirely different spin on the case from the get-go.
Wasz was Not just any old druggie on the street. He had Connections--big connections in the mob, drug scene and the Intelligence scene.
He is truthful in what he says happened but that doesn't exclude that he was "used" as well in some kind of "operation". I was very familiar with Pellicano and had worked with him before. He says that Pellicano has government Intell connections which is more than likely true due to his testifying in the JFK hearings. Also you cannot discount the Pellicano RAN to Fuhrman's side and worked for "free" for a year. Yeah, right!! I think someone and someone BIG bankrolled that deal. Pellicano was Fuhrman's thug "mouthpiece". He got on national tv and threatened any potential witnesses with "wishing they had never been born." Pellicano doesn't work for FREE.
And you may recall that Pellicano's threats were directed at those who would come forward and tell that Fuhrman and Nicole knew each other and were seen together in the months before the murders.
Also up until Pellicano's appearance the people in and around Nicole (the neighbor witnesses) were talking every night on the tabloid shows about what they had seen (like Ron being over to Nicole's so much--daily--etc.) and they clamed up after Pellicano's appearance on the scene. His friends were being interviewed each night--and that stopped as well.
I believe the man. (because those who have checked him out believe him). What the purpose was of this hired hit was to the whole scene though I don't know.
We do know that Kardashian is involved in much much more than was known at the time of the murders.
