Whether Kaelin actually had keys to the main house or not (I personally think he did) is irrrelevant. he had his own "secret" way in through the interior door at one end of his quarters. There was a short hall with three steps that lead from those doors to the pool/trophy room. These doors are mentioned in one of OJ's depositions where, when asked how many times he had been in Kaelin's room, Oj replied "twice", and said how the first time (the second being on the murder night) was when Sydney and Justin opened that door and invaded Kaelin's room. This door is also mentioned in Sue Silva's criminal trial testimony, when she, as an expert witness from Westec, gave a detained description of all the doors to the main house, and mentions this door as NOT being alarmed.
