Not for agreeing with me, but for stating the case so eloquently. Red herrings, back-up plans, fall guys, false identities, etc. - all of these thing are hallmarks of what we know about the Bundy killer and what we know about the Fuhrman "creativity" technique by way of the McKinney tapes. Paula's Jeep looks too much to me like "O.J.'s" Bruno Maglis, in the sense that it appears to be carefully chosen for identification and association with someone who had nothing to do with crime (stalking in the case of Paula/murder in the case of O.J.).
With O.J. and Paula as well as O.J. and Kardashian you have someone you can blame for the killing if things didn't go right with framing O.J. If the killing had jumped off in January (as I believe was the plan before Wasz got busted) with Paula's Jeep as the killer's vehicle, one of the alternate patsies could have been Paula herself. Waze became involved only because he was caught with the log. Why Wasz would steal Paula Barbiari's car to follow Nicole makes no sense unless someone with connections to the drug culture meant for Paula or "a crack-head" in Paula's employ to be identified by SOMEONE as the driver.
It is inconceivable to me that Fuhrman, as an ambitions member of the Gang/Narcotics unit of the LAPD looking for "the big arrest," didn't seek out, cultivate and employ "snitches" and other covert operatives to do things he couldn't. Yet, no one with the resources to do so appears to have made an effort to determine whether or not there was a connection between Fuhrman and any of the other known drug users in this case (Denise, Faye). As Joe Bosco pointed out in A Problem of Evidence, had it not been for the "adroit" questioning of Ron Shipp by Carl Douglas, we may never have learned about the connection between Fuhrman and Shipp. -- Jasper
