Jasper, I know a bit about the missing bike as I am the only one to my knowledge to find it. If someone else did, please let me know.

It is posted on Bill Schreck's site from the time when I found it.

Reading the depos --at the time I thought I recalled it being Jason's depo but now believe it was Arnelle's since someone read Jason's from beginning to end and couldn't find it.

Unfortunately, Arnelle's depo did not stay on the Internet for very long. Also with the webtv that I have I was limited in how to keep a "hard copy" of it when I found it.

Anyway, when the BROWN"S lawyers were asking questions---of Arnelle I believe (it was family)-- they asked her All kinds of questions about Nicole's use of a bike in the neighborhood. (You may recall that there is even a photo of Nic on a bike with all those guys (Ron included) around her while she is on the bike.

Anyway, they ask a series of questions about how and when and how often Nicole used her bike. Then they asked WHERE was the bike?

Now, remember this is Kelly or one of the Other BROWN lawyers asking the questions. So, I assume that when the Browns started going through Nic's things and getting her stuff out of the condo, the bike was Not there.

Since Ron is in the photo of Nicole staddling the bike in that group shot, I assume that the bike has not been gone (however it was) for a long time.

Also, I want to know what a "mountain" bike is. It was mentioned that the the skateboarders (in American Tragedy) saw not only the crouching man but an Asian woman (Cora?) out front leaning on a "mountain" bike and that she seemed to not want to be recognized since she used her long hair to hide her face from the skateboarders. For whatever reason, this part of their statement was not used in the civil trial.

If my memory is correct on this the crouching man and the Asian woman were seen by the 2 skateboarders around 9:30.

But the Bottom line is that a bike that the Browns believed should have been in Nicole's garage was not and hadn't been since after the murders or whenever after the murders that they noticed it.

A hundred times I have wished I had paid more attention to what day and what person was being questioned. But since that one person read the complete Jason depo and couldn't find it and Arnelle's depo was hardly on the Internet for long, I can't prove that I read that. But I did.

It struck me --strongly--that the Brown's lawyer was tiptoeing around WHERE was Nicole's bike.

It may mean no more than the Brown's wanted to sell it for profit --knowing them---but it was an ODD series of questions ending in wanting to know if the person who was giving the depo knew where the bike was.
