I do not doubt that OJ said this in a deposition. But if he did so, he was simply wrong about the state of the door and its alarm on June 13, 1994. Sue Silva's testimony must be taken as authoritative. While that door may have been actively alarmed at one time, my guess is that that part of the alarm system was deactivated or destroyed when the guest house annex was built, and that OJ was therefore remembering the origianl condition of the alarm system.
Can you tell me the date of the deposition so that I can check out his exact words for myself?

Oj may have thought it was kept locked at all times. Since sydney and Justin opened that door on their own, it would have been a simple lock to defeat. Kaelin could have unlocked it from the house side once, and no one would have checked it, anyway.

You seem to be missing my true point which makes this unalarmed door to Kaelin's rooms so significant.
With this door available, Kaelin could not be locked out of the main house. Whenever OJ was out of town, Arnelle was out, and Gigi had the day off, Kaelin could have -- and did -- explore the whole main house completely undetected. he would have had access to all of OJ's property and papers. IOW, access to things like shoes, clothes, his garbage, his and Gigi's sets of keys, and OJ's personal phone books. Now do you see why that door is so important to my theory?

My objection was to your saying that OJ said he saw Kaelin "in the garage", not "in the garage AREA". There's a ehll of a difference, you know.
